Risk disclaimer
Effective date:
Nothing on Ozelinx is financial advice. We are not licensed financial advisers, brokers or dealers. Everything here is general information and education, and it does not take your goals, finances or risk tolerance into account.
Markets are risky
- Crypto assets can move tens of percent in a day. Small coins can lose almost all their value, be delisted, or be hard to sell.
- Forex and CFDs are usually traded with leverage. Most retail CFD accounts lose money, according to the risk warnings regulated brokers must publish.
- Stocks and indices can fall sharply on earnings, news or market-wide sell-offs, and trading can be halted.
- Commodities (gold, silver, oil, metals, grains, softs) react to weather, supply shocks, geopolitics and futures-market roll effects.
You can lose some or all of your money. Only risk money you can afford to lose.
Leverage and derivatives
Futures, perpetual swaps, options and margin magnify both gains and losses. Funding payments can add up. A small move against you can trigger liquidation of your whole position, sometimes at a worse price than you expected, because of slippage and gaps.
Limits of our data and models
- Free, delayed and partial data. Prices, order books, funding, open interest and liquidations come from free public sources. They can be delayed, missing, specific to one venue, or temporarily wrong.
- Proxies. Some markets are shown through related instruments, such as tokenized gold (PAXG/XAUT), tokenized stocks (xStocks), or perpetual futures on Hyperliquid and OKX. These are labelled, but they trade on different venues and can differ from the underlying market.
- Models. The estimated liquidation map, technical ratings, pivot levels, candlestick-pattern labels, seasonality and correlation are calculated mechanically from past data and simple assumptions.
- News. Headlines are collected automatically from RSS feeds and tagged by keyword. Tags can be wrong, and headlines can be outdated or corrected later by the publisher.
Trading and automation risks
- Strategy risk: indicators, calculators and backtests describe the past. A DCA plan or automated strategy can keep buying a falling asset, and something that worked historically can fail live.
- Technical failure: outages, API changes, bugs and connection problems can stop trading software or cause unintended orders.
- Security: leaked API keys or compromised accounts can be abused. Never give withdrawal permissions to third-party software, and never share recovery phrases.
- Counterparty risk: exchanges, brokers, stablecoin issuers and wallets can fail, freeze withdrawals or shut down.
- Costs: fees, spreads, swaps, funding and subscriptions can exceed your profits.
Regulation and tax
Crypto trading, derivatives, CFDs and some exchanges are restricted or prohibited in certain countries. You are responsible for following the laws where you live, including tax rules. A market or exchange appearing on this site does not mean it is available or legal for you.
Third-party information
Coin descriptions, company profiles, exchange lists and links come from third-party providers. Listing a project, company or exchange is not an endorsement. Past performance does not predict future results.
Frequently asked questions
Is the liquidation map real?
The liquidation map in the asset tabs is a model, labelled “MODEL · ESTIMATED”. It assumes a mix of leverage levels around recent prices. The list of liquidation orders below it shows real fills reported by OKX, but only for that exchange.
Why does the price differ from my broker’s?
Prices differ between venues, and free sources can be delayed. Spot forex and CFD quotes vary by broker, and some markets are shown through proxies such as tokenized gold or perpetual futures. Your broker’s price is the one you trade at.
Are candlestick patterns and technical ratings signals?
No. They are mechanical labels calculated from past candles. They are wrong often, and they ignore news, liquidity and your own circumstances.
